London, 7th December 2011 – Aspectus PR, the specialist business technology, energy technology and financial technology PR agency, has joined the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA). As a professional body representing those who work in communications, the PRCA gathers industry news, offers best practice advice and lobbies on the industry’s behalf to raise standards.
Aspectus PR has always supported the PRCA’s efforts and core values, but decided to become a full-time member following the PRCA’s tireless campaigning for PR interns to be paid at least the minimum wage. This is a cause Aspectus PR feels particularly strongly about and the firm can now be found on the PRCA’s list of agencies that pledge to pay interns.
“Not only is it great to be recognised for all our hard work, but joining the PRCA means that our employees can benefit from the many advantages afforded by our membership, such as the PRCA diploma and a broad range of excellent training schemes,” said Alastair Turner, managing director at Aspectus PR. “We are proud to uphold the PRCA’s code of conduct and aim to build a close working relationship with this national association.”
Since establishing successful offices in London and New York, Aspectus has enjoyed robust growth and, as it looks to build-out its international presence with offices in Hong Kong and Germany, believes that now is the right time to formalise its relationship with the PRCA.
