New York, 6th February, 2013 – Aspectus PR, a global communications and PR agency focusing on Financial Services, Energy, Engineering and B2B Technology and Events, has been appointed to devise and manage the communications strategy for the 2013 TechLeaders broker-dealer technology conference (TechLeaders), to be held March 13-15 in Irving, Texas.

Aspectus PR will raise the profile of the conference through pre-event media coverage highlighting the key business and technology issues being tackled by independent and regional broker-dealers and software providers. The agency is also tasked with advancing dialogue across all of TechLeaders’ communications channels via LinkedIn polls, Twitter updates, and promotion of the company’s podcast series and Tech Trend survey. Through these efforts, Aspectus PR will assist TechLeaders in building a community focused on the industry’s most pressing technology issues and solutions as well as increasing attendance and attracting new sponsors for the annual conference.

“After a successful inaugural event in 2012, it was our desire to partner with a communications agency that could further solidify the conference’s reputation as the venue where broker-dealers and software providers collectively tackle top technology issues,” said Chip Kispert, editorial director, TechLeaders. “Aspectus PR has a deep understanding of the broker-dealer industry, connections with key journalists and social media prowess that will enable us to broaden the scope and impact of our event in 2013.”

TechLeaders brings together top executives from independent and regional broker-dealers to explore the latest developments, innovations and products related to operations and technology. TechLeaders welcomes back as sponsors industry heavyweights such as LaserApp, Redtail Technology, and Salespage—and continues to add new sponsors, most recently Quadron Data Solutions, interested in this unique and effective forum.

“Our aim is to enhance the impact and value of the TechLeaders Conference for all participants by stimulating the exchange of ideas ahead of and at the event through traditional and social media,” said Claudine Cornelis, executive vice president and COO, North America, Aspectus PR. “Our understanding of the broker-dealer industry, where we already work with some of the top technology providers, will help ensure that dialogue around the key issues reach the widest audience possible.”

About TechLeaders
TechLeaders, the annual broker-dealer technology conference —unlike any other event—has an agenda dedicated only to presenting the technology solutions that best serve the needs of the financial services community—Broker/Dealers, in particular. The conference is designed to give attendees and sponsors exposure to the technology vendors who are solving the problems that Broker/Dealers and their Representatives are facing every day. The TechLeaders event, held annually, will be supported by discussion groups, online user forums, and direct access to the technology vendors creating new solutions – to create a dialog through which new products can evolve in direct response to user need.
