London, 14th February 2011 – Exact, a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, has appointed B2B technology PR agency Aspectus PR to lead its PR activities in the UK. Aspectus has been engaged by Exact to raise the ERP specialist’s profile in top-tier media, and to educate its target markets on the benefits of ERP software. Aspectus PR will operate on a retained basis, with the account being managed by client services director Amy Redhead.

The campaign will target media channels in Exact’s key vertical sectors, as well as the business press, via a thought-leadership campaign based on the issues relating to improving business efficiency, and achieving effective international expansion. Aspectus PR will also implement a social media campaign for Exact, driving traffic to its website, and supporting ongoing PR activities.

“The right type of business software solution can work wonders for a company. However, there are a lot of different products out there, and many businesses don’t want to invest because they don’t know what they need,” explains Wayne Dewsnap, head of sales and marketing, Exact. “We chose Aspectus to raise Exact’s profile as they have a proven track record of creating great stories for the media that explain the business problems our products solve.”

Alastair Turner, managing director, at Aspectus PR said: “The business software space is crowded, with many companies struggling to communicate effectively with their target audience. PR is vital for companies operating in the business software sector as it ensures they are delivering the right messages to their key audiences. A good PR campaign should explain clearly and credibly how your products benefit your customers.”

Moving forward, the campaign will continue its thought leadership focus, but will also promote the Exact International Business Network using social media channels.
