And once again it’s congratulations to specialist management consultancy Baringa Partners. It’s not long since we were toasting their success in the Great Places to Work awards (see blog entry May 26th) and now they have been named Advisory House of the Year by Energy Risk magazine.
The firm has been trusted with some of the largest and riskiest change programmes in the industry, with budgets measured in tens of millions of Euros, and has defined and led broad, long-term change programmes for some of Europe’s biggest energy companies. At the same time, the company has offered a range of consulting services that includes smaller high-value initiatives such as helping organisations to better optimise their assets or increase process efficiency.
Dan Look, a partner in Baringa’s wholesale energy practice, says: “Naturally, everyone at Baringa is delighted to have won this award. Our clients come to us for all sorts of reasons: from needing help with mergers and acquisitions, through to pursuing new opportunities in the market or the desire to increase controls. They trust us to plan, develop, advise and lead challenging programmes that deliver on their strategic goals and transform their organisations. We have been able to maintain that position of trust because of the quality of the people we employ and the commitment we make to attracting, recruiting, retaining and developing the best and most-experienced consultants in the market people. This award really is a testament to their skill, experience and the incredible amounts of hard work they put in to each and every project.”
Stella Farrington, editor of Energy Risk said: “The Energy Risk awards provide a unique opportunity for companies across the industry to gain valuable recognition and attention. Winning an Energy Risk Award sets you apart from your competitors and is a tangible demonstration to your customers that you have something special to offer them.”
