October 12-13th marked a busy couple of days for the TuneUp team here at Aspectus, with the press tour for its latest PC optimisation software, ‘TuneUp Utilities 2011’, kicking off in London.

With a packed schedule of press meetings, Alexander Post, developer of TuneUp Utilities 2011, arrived back in London, eager to meet with and showcase the software to some of the city’s leading PC and computing journalists. It was a great experience travelling to all the different publishing houses, from future publishing which gave out free lollies on entry (a personal favourite of mine) to Dennis Publishing which houses some of the leading consumer trade magazines in the business.

Over the two day tour we met with the likes of WebUser, MicroMart, ComputerActive, Computer Shopper, What Laptop, European Reseller and even Murray Jacobs from SixtyPlusSurfers, a publication focused at the over sixty market! Alexander took the press through an impressive live demonstration of the software, which was thoroughly enjoyed and well received by all.

Press tours can often pan out to be hectic experiences but with journalists lining up to test and review the software, this year’s press tour turned out to be a huge success. Personally, it was a great experience managing a press tour for the first time, and for Alexander it was an opportunity to generate maximum press exposure for TuneUp’s most exciting software yet!
