London, Monday 9th September 2013 – Aspectus PR, the global communications and PR agency, has been appointed by the world’s largest social investment network, eToro. The firm selected the Financial Services PR team at Aspectus to manage its media relations in the UK, further strengthening the Agency’s footprint in the consumer PR market.
Following its recent authorisation by the Financial Conduct Authority, eToro engaged Aspectus to raise the profile of its network in the UK and build on its already 2.85-million strong global user base. The social investment network’s ultimate goal is to democratise the financial markets by applying the concepts of social networking to a previously opaque, exclusive industry. It will be working with Aspectus to increase its UK membership across all demographics.

The appointment of Aspectus as a long-term partner by eToro follows a successful project in which the Financial Services team proved it had the creativity, contacts and clout required. In the initial project, Aspectus secured press coverage for eToro in The Telegraph, The Week, Bloomberg and Bloomberg TV, as well as in a number of blogs and publications across the financial services, technology and lifestyle sectors.
