The art world, in some quarters, has a reputation for being pretentious. But not at the Art Apart Fair, held in Singapore over the weekend.

We saw artists from all around the world coming together in a true sharing of talent and fun. Throngs of visitors attended the fair to see a wide range of arts from around the world. One visitor said he could live in the exhibition for the rest of his life and still not have enough time to view and take in all the works. And he was only 28!

The fair simply had a mood of passion and care: nationalities from all around the world sharing their works, sharing their stories and sharing their goodwill.

Ten per cent of the ticket proceeds will go directly to the Halogen Foundation, a charity set up to help develop leadership skills in young people in Singapore. Many of the young members of the foundation acted as guides and hosts. They were an incredible bunch of inspirational young people who worked tirelessly to ensure that every guest was welcomed warmly and made to feel at home.

Aspectus PR was honoured to be involved as a sponsor and came away inspired by the works, the artists and the members.
